Video: Styling at the Siam Paragon Mall, Bangkok, Thailand
After picking up our Myanmar visas and passports, we took the SkyTrain to Siam Paragon mall with the idea to see a movie. We did see three Starbucks, a gourmet market and a bookstore but they did not have a movie we really wanted to see. One movie we considered was in a special theater and the tickets were nearly $30usd for the two of us.
We happened to be present for the Red Carpet Grand Opening of the first H&M store in all of Thailand. The pouring rain did not dim the music or the dresses for this gala occasion. We enjoyed the music and the videos.
We found the car section of the mall and picked out BMWs, Audis and Lamborghinis to drive home. The mall has intricate flower and animal displays made out of recycled materials. It reminded us of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas for its opulence, colorful intrigue and dancing fountains. We did not go to Siam Ocean World but a shark almost ate George! Enjoy the shopping and the music when you are in Bangkok. I wish we had a SkyTrain for public transportation in Los Angeles; I would love it! September 27, 2012
This movie is from our month stay in Thailand (September 2012) and our year TRIP in South East Asia, see all the videos from our trip.
Your video made me home sick… LOL Isn’t that mall amazing? I am surprised you didn’t catch hell for videoing inside. I always try and sneak shots if I can because they have politely come up and told me no photographs allowed and although it’s the Land of Smiles, you can see they are annoyed. LOL Headed there in January so will have to check out H&M. 🙂
Tim, Thanks for your comment! Enjoy THAILAND! We are in Varkala now but will be back in Thailand in 2013 for certain! Happy Holidays! Lisa
Hi Lisa and George
Loved watching your video! I was excited by the movie theater in Koh Samui but it’s nothing compared to this!
Wish I would’ve taken videos in Thailand – just hearing the background music makes me miss it 🙁
Look forward to watching more of your videos!
