How the Photo was Taken

This image was taken out of hand, using a Canon 6d dslr and a graduated neutral density filter.

Photo Location

This image was taken about two weeks ago on a recent trip to Europe. It is taken at a village known at Kinderdijk, which is home to the largest concentration of old windmills in the Netherlands. This is quite a well known Dutch tourist area and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I went late afternoon and was lucky enough to avoid the crowds.
